Welcome to Newmarket Chess Club

We play in the Bury Area league, and meet at the Forrester's club on Tuesday Evenings at 7.30pm. We are always looking for more players, as we enter either one or two teams into the league depending on how many active players we have.

We have now confirmed that we will be entering one team into the Bury League this season (we have called the teams Stallions as the Stallions finished higher than the Colts last seaason).. However we will be fielding one team in the Roger Goldsmith Champagne Tournament (Newmarket Darkhorses), and a joint team with Linton into the Cambridgeshire equivalent - the Team 500 competition (Linton Jockeys).
